What is Console?
Console is the command-line interface to your operating system. It allows you to execute commands, view data, and monitor system activity.
Most modern operating systems offer a built-in console that is accessed through a keyboard and mouse. For example, on macOS, it’s called Terminal. On Linux, it’s called the terminal.
A computer may also have a serial port, which connects the machine to a console that has a keyboard and monitor. This is useful if the computer has a problem that needs immediate attention.
Console on Android
On Android, there are two types of console. The first type, referred to as the System Console, provides information about the device’s current state.
The second type, referred to as the Android System Log, provides information about what has happened since the device was booted.
Both of these consoles are accessible from within the Settings app.
