While you’re busy writing, you might forget about other tasks like social media, emailing clients, or even just taking care of yourself. A movie reviewer has an opportunity to make a good first impression to the moviegoing public. Good reviews get clicks, and clicks mean business. So how do you write a good review? Here’s a simple formula. First, find a way to describe the plot of the film, and then talk about the characters and their emotional arcs. If you can get that across in two paragraphs or less, you’ve got yourself a winner.
First, you have to be able to describe what happens in the movie. This is actually a lot easier than it sounds, and there are a few tricks to help you get started.
