i am working on a personal project using APPSERV.

but then right now one of my class needs to install WAMP.

i know WAMP AND APPSERV is basically the same. and i can just import my files in those and use only one.

BUT I WANT TO USE BOTH. Smile

right now i am conflicted about the localhost.

i first installed appserv then wamp.

localhost recognizes appserv but not wamp.

i tried putting a port :8080 on wamp but it doesn’t..

anyhelp? i need to access the localhost of wamp. how would i change the name localhost?

Go to “C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.22\conf” and open “httpd.conf” with Notepad. Find the line “Listen 80” and change it to 8080 (or some port you want), save it. Restart all services.
