The Way to Programming
As many of us know, at least I expect the majority of programmers to know it, Android Marshmallow 6.0 brings us Miracast support. Miracast is a wireless screencast technology that’s being accepted by more and more manufacturers, both tablet (phone) and TV manufacturers.
My question is – will the new version of Android SDK contain basic functions and libraries to work with the Miracast technology? I thought of creating just a basic app that scans all the Miracast-supported devices connected to the same network as the device running the app and then choosing the device (screen) to screencast to.
